Barn Burner Music is a independent jazz record label that combines contemporary genres such as hip-hop, electronica, drum'n'bass, world rhythms & post-rock with Americas art form. My name is Nick Schmidt. I swam at Eastern Illinois University where I earned an accounting & MBA degree. After graduation in 2005, I did the normal thing and moved into an accounting job. I am an accountant by day and a video blogger (vlogger) by night. As you can see I am not your average accountant. A vlogger is just like a blogger. However, instead of writing blogs I produce, edit, and even make music for my videos. I use my videos to express my creativity and life passions. I have been recognized by MTV and VH1 after my article in the Wall Street Journal. I was featured in the Wall Street Journal (10/3/06 section D1 "Virtual Reality TV") after placing 2ndAmerica's Dream Date" competition by Gofish.com. Placing 2nd allowed me to win a trip to Las Vegas, where I attended the Billboard Music Awards. I covered video footage backstage with the creator of Techiediva.com, Gina Hughes. I have been an editor for Techiediva since April 2006. Techiediva.com was selected by PC Magazine as one of the top 100 websites in 2006. All of my experiences have provided me the ability to be involved in various technological projects. I have spoken at the downtown Chicago Apple Store a number of and I am currently teaching video blogging at the local Apple Store on the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus. I have also spoken at the three day panel of the Art Institute of Chicago campus for the Motion Graphics Festival. Due to the increasing usage of video in consumer product marketing, I had the opportunity to be a guest for the Chicago Interactive Marketing Association’s (CIMA) "User Generated Content" panel, which also included the V.P. of Edelmen, V.P. of Myspace.com, and the CEO of Blogger and Feedburner. My most recent project consultation is for ProjectElliott.com where I am assisting in the in the " development of videos for the company’s new social network of job search.

JON HAMMOND Instruments: Organ, Accordion, Piano, Guitar Attended: Berklee College of Music 1974 Languages: English, German *Jon is currently Host of daily CBS radio program HammondCast on KYOU & KYCY 1550 AM, 7 days a week at 4AM PST. *Performing solo in Hospitals, Nursing Homes regularly. Bandleader for annual overseas dates for over 20 years. *Musician: Jon Hammond is one of the premier B3 PLAYERS in the world. Jon has played professionally since age 12. Beginning as a solo accordionist, he later played Hammond B3 organ in a number of important San Francisco bands. His all original group HADES opened shows for Tower of Power, Quicksilver Messenger Service and Michael Bloomfield. Eddie Money and Barry Finnerty became musical associates. Moving East he attended Berklee College of Music and played venues as diverse as Boston's "Combat Zone" in the striptease clubs during the '70's and the exclusive Wychmere Harbor Club in Cape Cod, where he was house organist with Lou Colombo.

I am a veteran of the US Army 1989-1991 I served in Southwest Asia for 17 months with the 528th USAAG During the Gulf war.
