Azeez is a multi-talented graduate of the University of Dar es Salaam with a bachelor degree in Language Studies. He worked as a part time radio presenter of the Times FM 100.5, hosting an SPW Radio program known as Afya Bomba when he was still at the University. Professionally, he is a graphic designer, peer educator, writer, editor, translator, proofreader, interpreter and a poet as well, having participated in the International Poetry Contest in 2001 and managed to reach final stage.
