In university at the moment studying Digital Video Design (3 year course). Just came off a two year National Diploma in Art and Design course.
Wreck & Salvage is a joint effort among 4 other independent video producers and myself. We produce a bi-weekly video podcast featuring original comedy and entertainment videos and animations.
I developed the web site wreckandsalvage.com using Wordpress, PHP, XHTML/CSS, and some Javascript. I hacked Wordpress to generate different RSS 2.0 compliant feeds for each of our 3 media formats.
On the video side, I produce the series Ornamental Concrete that airs on Wreck & Salvage every other Thursday using a mix of live action and stop-motion animation, with homemade sets, scripts, and 3-point lighting setup.
I grab frames for animation in StopMotion Pro, edit in Adobe Premiere, capture audio in Sony Sound Forge, and occasionally add extra stuff in After Effects.

Richard Escobedo...He's the Computer Guy of the family; and believe it or not, at school he outsmarts the computer teachers! Richard started at age 3 on a PowerMac 9600, and slowly taught himself office, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, HTML, CSS, Fireworks, and a vast array of Video Editing Software. Richard's Parents say, "He's always had a thing for technology..He would take his toys apart, and them put them back together. We would get mad at him, and notice they were put back together and working just fine!" Out of his entire family, his dad was most computer-illiterate. He could get his e-mail and do what any other 39 year old man could do; but he just couldn't figure out Google! So, Richard stepped in and introduced him to Google! His mom was probably the most computer literate! She was advanced in Excel, and taught him LOTS about that program. Richard enjoys making websites, but his passion is health! He plans on getting his PhD. from Johns-Hopkins Medical, and becoming a neurologist. And get his M.D. from Harvard Medical. Richard truly has dreams for the future! Subscribe to his YouTube channel, and get all of your Tech questions answered; From HTML to CSS -- to your iPod, and your Laptop, Richard Escobedo's got you covered!
